FAQ

  • What types of hair extensions do you offer?

    I offer K tip & Genius weft extensions, but I also offer Combline as a hair enhancement service.

  • How long do hair extensions last?

    It depends on the method of extension! Genius wefts need moved up every 4-6 weeks, and K tips completely removed and replaced every 3 months. Combline needs replaced every 4-6 weeks. It's vital you follow the after care requirements for your biological hair's health.

  • How do I care for my hair extensions?

    Great question! That requires more of an answer than this short faq can answer and that's found in my extension care page. I also send you home with a paper explaining exactly how to care for your extensions, and we go over it during your extension appointment.

  • How often should I come in for maintenance?

    For grey coverage that depends on how fast your hair grows! Every 4-6 weeks would be ideal. For a gloss/toner refresh every 4-8 weeks depending on how fast your hair fades. Haircuts every 8-12 weeks. For extensions it depends on the method chosen and is explained more on my extension care page.

  • Can you help fix a color I don't like?

    Absolutely! New clients please book a consultation, but if it's a color we did in the salon and you'd like it adjusted I offer a 7 day free adjustment as long as you have followed the color care guidelines you agree to upon booking.

  • Is there a way to make my color last longer?

    Yes! Washing in cooler water with salon quality shampoo and conditioner, bought AT a salon will help your color last longer. I also suggest going 2-3 days in between washes (unless you sweat a lot or get in lake, salt, or chlorinated water) so your color doesn't fade as fast. Staying out of salt water, chlorinated water, and lake water will help with color longevity, but if you do go in, make sure to soak your hair in purified water so your natural hair doesn't suck up the ocean, lake or pool water.

  • What should I do before my appointment?

    Come with clean dry hair so your color will take quickly and evenly. Bring at least 3 inspiration photos and any questions you may have about hair care and aftercare!

  • What products do you recommend for at-home care?

    I recommend salon quality products bought from me so you can guarantee the products haven't been diverted and expired. I carry Davines and K18 products.

  • How much do your services cost?

    All of my services' starting prices are online, but for a more accurate price please book a consultation and bring your inspiration photos!
